Educating Young People About Science Through Insects

The Entomological Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and exciting young people about science through insects. The Foundation offers free educational materials to educators to help implement entomology into current science-based programs. While the materials are free to educators, there is a shipping cost for each package mailed.

In requesting materials, you can receive 1- Insect Appreciation Digest, 2- Pollinator Posters, and up to 30 insect fact bookmarks. A description of the materials is below:

Insect Appreciation Digest (1st ed. by Dr. F. Tom Turpin) (Also available on-line)

Chapters include an introduction to Entomology and Entomologists, Insect Collection, Insect Structure and Function, Insect Biology, Interaction with Humans, and Insects and Human Culture. Each chapter ends with 3 to 5 questions for students.
