Student Award

Lillian and Alex Feir Graduate Student Travel Award

Sponsored by The Entomological Foundation

This award encourages graduate students working with insects or other arthropods in the broad areas of physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology to affiliate with the Entomological Society of America's Section B and to attend the annual Entomological Society of America meeting or an international Congress of Entomology. The amount for this award varies depending upon the interest earned for this endowment.


Established by Dorothy Feir as a tribute to her parents who, at considerable self-sacrifice, encouraged education and travel experiences for their daughters.
