Entomological Foundation Medal of Honor
A Medal of Honor has been established by the Entomological Foundation in 2007 to recognize distinguished service in the field of entomology. This award is the highest award presented by the Foundation and is given only to those who have attained preeminence in the field through outstanding contributions. Recipient selection is administered through the Foundation's Honoree Committee of the Board of Directors and Board of Counselors. The award consists of a gold medal and is presented during the Entomological Foundation's Awards Dinner. Past individuals recognized by the Foundation during its Benefit Dinner.

Annual Science Project Contest
The Entomological Foundation is once again conducting a contest to identify the best science project ideas for students, teachers and families. Dr. Nan-Yao Su is sponsoring our fourth contest which will select science project ideas built around an entomological question.
Entries are invited from ESA student members. Project ideas that relate to insects, spiders or related arthropods are welcome. Winners will receive $100 per project. Entries will be accepted through August 31, 2013. Please view the guidelines for more information.
