Guidelines for Developing the Awards CV

General guidelines.

The Awards CV format serves as a template for organizing the summary of the nominee’s biographical and professional information. Content is more important than format; but the proposed template ensures information required by the judging panel is provided (using an alternate format, however, will not disqualify the nomination).

Applicable information in SECTION 1 is required for all awards. Information in sections 2-5 or individual items within these sections, may or may not be required for the specific award and/or may or may not pertain to your specific nominee; where optional, these items should be included only if you feel they would strengthen the nomination.  See the accompanying table for award-specific minimal requirements.

Remember that the complete nomination, including letters of recommendation and other supporting materials must be submitted electronically to the Entomological Foundation and MUST NOT exceed a total of 20 pages.  NOTE:  Any nomination that exceeds the 20-page limit or is not in electronic format will NOT be forwarded to the judging panel for consideration.
